Autism Coverage will be Added to California Health Plans on July 1

Beginning July 1, 2012, fully insured health plans in California will have to comply with California bill, SB946. This bill requires that all health plans and policies provide coverage for behavioral health treatment for pervasive developmental disorder or autism.
